A fuckton of owls. O RLY? YA RLY.

Practical research for book illustration project "The Owl and the Pussy-Cat."

These are the finished editorial illustrations for Uni. Neither of them are great. The first one is problematic because it's not stylised appropriately towards the magazine and had this been a real payed job, I'd not have done it that way. But with interests in making an interesting illustration in such a way I can learn from, It seemed more practical to go for an idea and media that was conceptually stronger than the kind of poor illustrations the Magazine (World of Interiors) usually would go for.
The second one I had issues with because... I don't even know. But it looks rushed because it is.

Train station doodles. I spend a lot of time at train stations.

This is Charring Cross station, drawn from the Southbank Centre Balcony with Rachel on Saturday. It's awesome up there.

And what is quickly becoming my "bog standard dragon", though this one has a rubbish face, but anatomy wise this is what my dragons currently tend to look like. Lecture doodle. Leo annoys me.

Just a dragon. Quite like his anatomy in places though.

Felt pens in Corel Painter X.

Looks nothing like real felt tips.

Sorry for the lack of decent updates. I'll be back into the swing of things shortly I hope.
